Membership Application
Important Information for Proposers, Seconders and Referees
If you are considering proposing a candidate for membership, please review the information below before completing the Membership Request Form.
It is a privilege of membership to invite family, friends, and colleagues to join the Club. By doing so, you are personally endorsing the candidate as a compatible and contributing member.
Proposers are responsible for supporting the candidate’s successful integration into the Club. It is therefore important that the Proposer, Seconder and Referees know the candidate well and support the nomination without reservation.
Eligibility Requirements
The Proposer and Seconder must be Intermediate or Adult playing members. Along with the Referees, they must:
- Have been members for at least 5 years
- Have known the candidate for at least 5 years
A total of 6 Referees is required, representing a broad cross-section of the Club.
Before Submitting an Application
Proposers must ensure the candidate understands:
- $1,000 administration fee
- Invoiced once the Candidate form is submitted
- Non-refundable
- Credited toward the Entrance Fee if elected
- Membership waitlist applies
- Intake is dependent on availability each year
The Seconder must be prepared to step in as Proposer if required.
Referees should reflect a diverse mix of relationships (e.g. family, friends, colleagues).
